Advanced Rubber Coatings for the RV and Roofing Industry

<<< Liquid EPDM >>>

< A Superior Rubber Coating that applies like paint >

Liquid Roof® and Liquid Rubber® are liquid EPDM products which form a membrane of 100% pure EPDM rubber when cured.

The cured EPDM rubber is identical in properties to the original EPDM sheet rubber roof.

Liquid Roof® is a liquid EPDM product formulated specifically to coat roofs of RV's , motor homes, campers, trailers, 5th wheels, mobile homes, houseboats and boat roofs. It can be easily applied by the owner over metal, aluminum , fiberglass, rubber, and foam roofs. See the Liquid Roof® page for more information.

Liquid Rubber® is formulated for residential and commercial buildings. It can be used on metal roofs, wood, concrete, fiberglass roofs, foam roofs and rubber roofs. It can be used to seal tanks used to hold water-based liquids. It can also be used to seal concrete such as in fish ponds. See Liquid Rubber Page. for more information.

Both liquid EPDM products come as a two-part system, mixed just before application and has a pot life (remains liquid) for 4 - 6 hours.

NOTE: Liquid EPDM will not cure below 55ºF - however...

If the temperature drops below 55ºF after the product has been applied, the curing will stop. This will not harm the product. When the temperature rised above 55ºF the curing will continue.

Curing to tack-free will occur in 18 - 24 hours if the temperature is 70ºF. Lower temperatures take longer and higher temperature will shorten the cure time. Full cure in 3-7 days. Liquid EPDM can also be used over concrete and wood.

When liquid EPDM rubber cures to EPDM membrane its characteristics include outstanding resistance to weathering, ozone and UV exposure, excellent color stability and heat resistance. It offers many of the advantages of rubber at a lower cost. It's temperature range, -60ºF (used in freezer gaskets) to 300ºF (used in automotive radiator hoses) make it an ideal roofing material. EPDM is a non-oil resistant film.

What is EPDM rubber?

EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) is a synthetic rubber--a highly flexible stable material. It has excellent resistance to ozone and many other advanced chemicals found in today's environment. EPDM's balance of physical properties and chemical resistance makes it ideal for a wide variety of rubber applications, especially roofs.
